1999 was a great year for Belgium, where house-wives replaced their
shopping list with the list of forbidden food: chickens with dioxins,
spoilt Coca-Cola... In the USA (and other independent nations depending from
the USA) the jihad against tobacco was hardened while the NATO solved the Yugoslavian
ethnic conflicts through their expeditious humanitarian methods consisting in
bombing citizens to make their leader (Milosevic) think about it. Every Spaniard
trembled in anguish because of the airport chaos in Spain. And viagra, oh well,
who haven't ever taken one of these pills? The first last year of the second
millennium also featured three hundred and sixty-five days.
